Numerical analysis of flexural and shear behaviors of geopolymer concrete beams

Geopolymer concrete (GPC) is obtained by activating industrial wastes such as fly ash with chemical liquids sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and silicate (Na2 SiO3). In order to use environmentally friendly GPC from instead of portland cement (OPC), its behavior in structural elements important should be investigated detail. Load-displacement characteristics, flexural shear stiffnesses crack development samples were numerical analysis. The beams an alternative OPC beams, their mechanical properties fracture modes must at least much OPC. As a result the analyses, it was determined that 110x20x15 cm compression reinforcements 2?8 tension 2?8, 3?14 2?18, respectively, showed similar flexural, beams. Simulations made up breaking point, contributing understanding behavior.
